Black Business Women Rock! Founder Natalyn Randle-Matthews has announced the date and location of the 3rd Annual Black Business Women Rock! Conference. This annual event is scheduled for Saturday, November 1, 2014 from 6:00 PM until 10:00 PM. and will be held at Maker City LA – The Reef. Maker City LA is located at 1933 S. Broadway in Los Angeles and the event will take place on the 11th floor. For Randle-Matthews, the annual conference is a labor of love, since it allows her to gather African-American female entrepreneurs in one place and present experts and ideas that allow them to attain their goals, take their professional careers to the next level, and most important, support each other.

According to Randle-Matthews, she founded her organization and organized this conference to give aspiring black business women something she didn’t have starting out, access to black female role models in business. “I was on the sideline at one point too,” explained Natalyn. “I didn’t have a business and I needed resources; I needed to see other women in business to see how it went.”

The Black Business Women Rock! Conference will feature over 11 successful African-American entrepreneurs and experts, who will speak on topics that include invaluable business education, gaining capital to invest, real estate, credit repair, investing in the youth, the 529 College Plan, the intersection of entrepreneurship and spirituality and the keynote topic, “Who Are You When The Curtain Falls?” The conference will also feature a stirring tribute to Maya Angelou, a comedy spotlight performance and the Black Business Women Rock! Award.

Speakers and performers include Randle-Matthews, who not only founded BBWR, but is also Owner of Ease On Down the Road Home Improvement. Other speakers include: Richard Downer, First Vice President & Wealth Advisor at Morgan Stanley; Kawai Matthews, branding expert and photo/video producer; Katrina Caldwell, Founder & CEO of Diva Locks Hair Extensions; comedienne, Courtney Black; Dur’Lene Escobar, Owner of Coffeepreneur LA Café & Deli; Anthony Penn, President of First Class Communicators Toastmaster International; spoken word artist, Tasha Auset; spiritual psychologist and author, Dr. Tashion Macon; Dr. Anita Moultrie Turner, Program Director for the LA Urban Teacher Residency Program, Lisa Williams, National Media Expert & Owner of Media Authority Marketing and Rosa Johnson, MSW, Founder & CEO of the Pearls Academy.

The conference is aimed at female entrepreneurs, business professionals and creatives, but it is open to both men and women. Conference attendees can expect an evening filled with fun and networking opportunities. In addition to the many speakers, entertainers and vendors, guests will eat, drink, shop and win prizes. Most essentially, the evening presents an opportunity to network and make business connections that can lead to greater opportunities for success.

Black Business Women Rock! is the culmination of a dream for Randle-Matthews. She began the movement in 2011 to bring together African-American businesswomen, so they could learn in a supportive and encouraging environment. According to Natalyn, her goal is to have the women in her community embrace one another and help each other move into a higher level of business through a reciprocal exchange of teaching, learning, networking, and brainstorming.

Randle-Matthews hopes to reach African-American women who are at any stage of their professional careers. The conference presents information for those who are thinking of opening a business, individuals who are just starting out, and entrepreneurs who are established and thriving in business.

In the end, it’s all about support and encouragement. As Randle-Matthews says, “In my circle, I have women that uplift me. We embrace each other, we don’t put each other down, we’re all about moving over and above; we’re moving up a ladder together.”
