Andrea Steward leads new book aimed to provide police, firefighters, teachers, medical professionals and military with information and resources to enhance their lives in the areas of real estate, financial, legal, health and more.

Los Angeles, CA – Andrea Steward, a recently retired LAPD 911 Operator and veteran and presently a real estate agent intent on giving back to public service professionals, announced this week that she will lead a new book project, “Helping Heroes: How Public Servants Just Like You Are Receiving Rebates When Buying and Selling Their Home, Securing Their Future, and Enjoying Life and You Can Too!”, just in time for May, the national month for honoring many of our communities’ most selfless heroes.

Situated to be a resource designed to help public servants of all types, “Helping Heroes, Real Estate, Retirement and Resources” is a book featuring a hero, for heroes, providing information on best practices when buying and selling a home, sharing real estate breaks that are available specifically for heroes, and offering advice that can enhance their lives in the areas of financial, legal, health and wellness and more that also includes other top professionals.

“APG, myself and all contributors to the book project have pledged to donate 100 percent of the retail royalties and a percentage of all sponsorship packages to HOPE4BLUE, a national nonprofit that raises funds to support every police officer and every police agency in America,” Steward said. “As someone who worked as a public servant in different capacities for a great portion of my life, and now transitioning into my real estate business, I was totally committed to this project for giving back to the heroes of our communities in various ways. They deserve to be rewarded, and my goal is to make as many heroes as I can aware of a program that gives back to them.”

Steward’s book will be the leading novel for APG’s “Leading the Way” charity book project for heroes. Lisa C. Williams, president of APG, a boutique media and publishing company, stated, “We selected Ms. Steward for several reasons to head the book project. She is a recently retired public servant, a retired veteran and a real estate agent who believes in giving back.”

Steward will be visiting schools, hospitals, police and fire stations starting in May to honor heroes by giving copies of the book and talking about the rebate she gives back to all public servants when they buy or sell their homes.

The project is seeking the support of local businesses to join in and reward heroes by purchasing a sponsorship package that will allow Steward to give complimentary books to more heroes. Local businesses supporting the public servants will be recognized in all media as community supporters.

The book “Helping Heroes” is part of a personal social responsibility project that Augmented Publishing Group attaches to all of their “Leading the Way” book projects. Corporate Social Responsibility has become a driving factor for consumer purchasing decisions today, “Cause marketing and social responsibility as a whole is something that all businesses and brands should be trying to incorporate into their business plans. If not, they can expect their audience to turn to competitors who are,” as stated in The Huffington Post, August 2016.

“Even though heroes can purchase their own copy of the book, this is our way of showing that the community appreciates them and is willing to give back to them in a unique way, by providing a book that can add value to their lives,” said Steward.
