Ashley Fisher has signed a book deal and fundraising campaign in order to raise funding and awareness for Hydrocephalus. The book, Hydro Warrior: A parent and child story living hydrocephalus from diagnosis to treatment and the parent and child’s story.

Hydro Warrior, will dive into a informative perspective as a parent Ashley Fisher, of a child Bailey,  with hydrocephalus. Hydrocephalus, commonly  referred to as “water on the brain,” can be a life-threatening condition that affects one in a thousand babies born in the U.S.

Fisher states, “I remember how scared I was when Bailey was first diagnosed with this condition. There was a sign of fear and defeat on my part. I remember going online and could not find a lot of resources and information, not the medical part, but more so the families perspective and how the kids were doing out there in the world with this condition. Once the book is published all the proceeds will go to the research of Hydrocephalus awareness. My intention is when someone google’s the condition, that hope will be there for families with this book”.

Ashley Fisher has been a real advocate for the condition, connecting with people that are going through the same process as her family. She has begun a call to action to build more awareness, to raise money for the research, and create a community of hope.
