Bestselling Author and Motivational Speaker Victoria Lee Carlyle Hits Amazon Bestseller List For The 3rd Time With New Book 30 Days Through Self-Discovery

Published on January 31, 2017

Victoria Lee Carlyle, motivational speaker and bestselling author of 'The Victim Addiction' and 'The Power to Change' released her latest book, 30 Days Through Self-Discovery in January. The highly anticipated book skyrocketed to #1 on Amazon.

Victoria Lee Carlyle’s latest book launched to number 1 on the Amazon bestseller list in the Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Transpersonal Psychology categories and was also found on the bestseller list in the larger category of Counseling and Psychology. Not surprisingly, the new book also appeared in Amazon’s Hot New Releases section.

The latest book by Carlyle explores the concepts of self-acceptance and self-worth. According to Carlyle, “The most important relationship you will ever develop will be the relationship you have with yourself. The more you love, trust and forgive yourself, the greater capacity you have to feel loved, engage in trusting relationships, and when you make a mistake, seek forgiveness from others. The way you value yourself will set the bar with how the world is going to value you.”

30 Days Through Self-Discovery focuses on self-discovery. It encourages awareness of one’s behavioral patterns particularly where people’s emotions are concerned. “Some of us go through our entire lives feeling mistreated, misplaced, and misunderstood,” Carlyle noted, “We struggle to cope with the confusion of unresolved pain and sorrow that we’ve encountered throughout our lives. When our buttons get pushed and these repressed feelings come out, we react by getting angry, frustrated, confused or hurt, and often blame others for the way we are feeling. Then, because we don’t know how to recognize, manage, control or change these uncomfortable feelings, we try to dismiss them, thinking that if we push our emotions aside, it will somehow help us remain emotionally stable. These automatic habits create an illusion that may appear stable on the outside; but emotional denial, pretense, and avoidance create insecurities that will prevent us from feeling fully present, engaged or connected to the people around us. “

According to Carlyle, the most important relationship a person will ever develop will be the relationship with themself. “The more you love, trust and forgive yourself, the greater capacity you have to feel loved, engage in trusting relationships, and when you make a mistake, seek forgiveness from others. The way you value yourself will set the bar with how the world is going to value you”, Carlyle commented.
