Kat Kass CEO of LA Mistinguette (miss-stang-get), recently featured in Small Business Trendsetter Magazine, created a distinctive business workspace consisting of private independent studios for Beauty Professionals, Artist, Designers and Health/Wellness practitioners in the Arts District of North Hollywood (NoHo).
An article in the LA Times titled “Communal Office Space Firm Rents CBS Building in Hollywood” says, “The historic CBS broadcasting facility in Hollywood where George Burns and Gracie Allen once did shtick on the radio will soon be repopulated with entrepreneurs starting new creative businesses”.
Kass moved to Los Angeles after being in Las Vegas for seven years where the traditional open floor space salons were closing. She says “Finding a building in the heart of North Hollywood on the main boulevard of Lankershim was a great treasure.” She was able to build out the open space converting it into smaller individual private studios, opening doors of opportunity other creative business to collaborate.
According to recent reports, North Hollywood is on an economic upswing. Located near Burbank and Universal City in the center of all of studios, photography, acting, recording, and dance this district provides a culture of creative arts and theater as well as a hub for transportation with the Metro Red line making it convenient to commute and connect to almost anywhere in greater Los Angeles.
