Kelly Johnson, a Parker, CO, Virtual Assistant, was chosen to participate in a photo essay for USAToday.com, “Living the Laptop Lifestyle.” She was selected as she works with clients globally from an office overlooking a beautiful vista.

Virtual Assistant Kelly Johnson of Cornerstone Virtual Assistance in Parker, CO, was selected to appear in a national photo essay in USA Today on the topic of “Living the Laptop Lifestyle.”

Johnson was selected because she is the perfect example of someone who is living the laptop lifestyle – a business owner who can work with clients from anywhere via computer. As a Virtual Assistant, technology not only allows Johnson to work with authors, speakers, and coaches in the U.S. and internationally from her home office, it doesn’t tie her to her office computer. She is able to easily chat with and help her clients from her patio with the magnificent vista view as she can from her office.

A quote by Henry Ford, “Coming together is a beginning, keeping together is progress, working together is success,” exemplifies for Johnson how a client and virtual assistant work together in bringing their strengths and passions to a collaborative, professional relationship to have a successful result.

Cornerstone Virtual Assistance, LLC was started by Kelly Johnson to offer clients a creative option to build a collaborative long-term professional relationship with a virtual assistant that supports the foundation of their business without being limited by geography.

Johnson’s professional background revolves around the field of education. She taught high school English and Psychology in addition to Language Arts at the middle school level. In addition to teaching, she worked for two education/training companies; the first education company placed teachers from foreign countries to work in the United States as teachers and cultural ambassadors. The second education company offered trainings and meetings to be conducted for participants via satellite broadcast, video conferencing and computer software. Her experiences with technology and in the classroom worked well for transitioning into and establishing her own virtual assistant business.
