Spotlight Publishing Announces National Search for Fitness Professionals to be Featured in a Charity Book Project

Published on August 2, 2017

Spotlight Publishing begins a national search for Fitness Businesses and Professionals to be included in their upcoming book project that will benefit the Three Rangers Foundation.

Phil Faris, owner of Spotlight Publishing confirmed they have officially launched a national search for health and fitness businesses and professionals to be featured in the upcoming book, “Never Too Late for Fitness: Leaders, Trendsetters and Innovators Share Strategies for Winning the Game of Life.” The book will be featuring a variety of fitness professionals including personal trainers, health club owners, health and nutrition coaches as well as fitness entrepreneurs and business owners.

Explaining the search process, Faris said, “This is an important book for us, so we’ll be reaching out to a select group of fitness professionals we feel are true educators and advocates for the fitness of people over fifty, while at the same time committing to spread the word about a great organization like the Three Rangers Foundation.”

Spotlight Publishing has pledged 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the book to be donated to the Three Rangers Foundation.

Scheduled for a September release, “Never Too Late for Fitness: Leaders, Trendsetters and Innovators Share Strategies for Winning the Game of Life” will spotlight each of the professionals selected from this search, sharing their insights, tips and innovations for helping people over fifty to get fit, stay fit and live a longer, healthier and happier life.

The 50+ population will be more than 20% of the US population by 2030 and they are facing many challenging health issues. According to a recent JAMA report, “Despite their longer life expectancy over previous generations, US baby boomers have higher rates of chronic disease, more disability, and lower self-rated health than members of the previous generation at the same age.”

Faris said, “The professionals we select are passionate about helping people overcome health and fitness issues and learning about maintaining a fit and healthy lifestyle. They will answer the common questions and bust the myths and misconceptions so many people over fifty have about their health and fitness. They will share great insights into how people over 50 can increase their strength, mobility and balance, how to select a personal trainer and how to avoid injuries and recover from surgeries”

With several fitness professionals already on board, Spotlight Publishing is expected to make an announcement revealing the final selections by August 16th, 2017.

Faris also stated, “We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both the Three Rangers Foundation and the people we select to feature in the book, so we really want to showcase those fitness professionals who are willing to share their knowledge for the benefit of people over fifty and to help a great cause. That’s why this is such a win, win, win project.”

Three Rangers Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to provide lifelong support for all veterans and their families. TRF is unique in that it is funded by private donations as well as by Three Rangers, a for-profit spirits brand. All administrative and overhead costs are covered by our partnership with Three Rangers. This is their guarantee that 100% of your donations go to the veterans they sponsor.

Since 2015, the Three Rangers Foundation has evolved from an initial concept to a leading Ranger community organization providing veterans with access to professional mentors and experts to assist with transition and provide guidance for a successful life.

Three Rangers takes an active approach to on-boarding professionals that want to be part of the veteran transition process. Lead by veterans, Three Rangers is now composed of a collection of combat-tested leaders and patriotic citizens that want to give back to those that have sacrificed for their freedoms.

“We have assisted roughly 40 veterans nationwide in the last two years,” Three Rangers executive director Larry D. Moores said. “The satisfaction is in seeing these men and women make the personal commitment for self-betterment while growing the network of organizations that wants to assist the veteran community.”
