Tracy Callahan Featured In New Bestselling Book On Divorce

Published on October 10, 2016

Tracy Callahan, divorce coach, mediator, and founder of Mediating-Matters, tops multiple Amazon bestseller lists with her contribution to the newly launched book, “Divorce: Taking the High Road.”

The book includes insights from eleven certified divorce coaches with the collective mission of providing simple strategies for creating a healthy divorce. “Divorce: Taking the High Road” gives actionable advice for all stages of divorce. From staying out of court, to effective communication and decision-making during the divorce process, to moving on after divorce. The insights shared throughout the book all have an underlying theme of maintaining one’s dignity throughout the divorce and beyond.

The book hit eight Amazon bestseller lists within the first week of its release. It ranked #1 in the “Divorce and Separation” category.

According to Renee Harrison, president of Moguly Media, who served as publisher and project manager for the book: “We are extremely fortunate to have the caliber of Divorce Coaches who gave their time to be interviewed for this project. Each and every one of them is a true advocate and educator. To have Amazon put this book at the top of their bestseller lists in the divorce and family law categories is an incredible achievement and puts a spotlight on the appreciation and recognition they deserve.”

Co-author Tracy Callahan shares her motivation for becoming a contributor to this book project: “Divorce is one of the hardest life decisions that many people find themselves facing or making on a daily basis. Overwhelmed by the ‘business’ side of divorce, further complicated by the barrage of emotional feelings and reactions, it is no wonder people get lost in a state of perpetual conflict, anger, and unhappiness. I, however, believe that if people had a better understanding of the divorce process, their choices, and how to engage in a self-empowered decision-making process, they would be more equipped and compelled to positively move forward, striving for amicability, integrity and dignity, for the benefit of themselves and their family. ‘Divorce: Taking the High Road’ is an essential resource for those who believe that it is possible to be more than their divorce.”

With her chapter titled, “Self-Empowerment Through Decision-Making,” Callahan helps individuals who are looking to understand and learn more about the decisions that need to be made in divorce and how to engage in a confident, self-empowered decision-making process. She states, “By engaging in effective decision-making that is consistent with your values, personal interests, and authentic self, you are taking the action necessary to positively and amicably move toward an agreement in your divorce.”

According to Tracy Callahan, “As a Certified Family Mediator and CDC Certified Divorce Coach (r), I am committed to working with families in crises to minimize the conflict and emotional turmoil often associated with the divorce process. Working to shift perspective, one client at a time, with the hope of moving families positively towards opportunity and away from conflict is the foundation of my practice. Contributing to this bestselling book, ‘Divorce: Taking the High Road,’ as co-author and fellow CDC Certified Divorce Coach (r), has been an incredible experience and an honorable extension of my professional work. Divorce does not need to be a dead end, and this amazing book is just the right place for many to start. Together, we can change the face of divorce for the better.”
