BNI announces their newest chapter, Wealth Builders, with an outstanding twenty seven members joining in under six months.

BNI is the largest networking organization in the world, where members meet once a week and refer business to each other. The newest chapter of BNI, Wealth Builders, meets every Thursday at 9 :30AM at the Pickle Barrel, in Yorkdale Mall, in Toronto, Canada.

TORONTO, May 05, 2016 – Fatima Omar Khamissa, the best-selling author of “From Ex to Extraordinary” and CEO of Spiritual Biz Moms is now accepting interviews with Muslim entrepreneurs, millionaires and influencers as she pens her latest book, “The Muslim Entrepreneur Mind”.

In the book, Khamissa is spotlighting successful Muslim entrepreneurs making a difference in their communities. She invites successful business owners and influencers to tell their stories.

“We must help each other break out of the 9 to 5 mindset,” says Khamissa. “We can build our own success stories, but first we need to change our mindset to change our results.”

Khamissa’s own experience is the foundation for the book. After 21 years in an abusive marriage, she left with her five children, one of whom has cerebral palsy. She went from struggling alone on welfare to building her own successful marketing and coaching business.

“Having been stuck for so many years myself, I wanted to show other Muslim women how they could change their mindset, their future and their community for the better,” says Khamissa. “I became a servant-leader by building Spiritual Biz Moms, writing books, speaking out and personally coaching other women to overcome their obstacles. The first Diva’s Day Out, which was held in December, was an overwhelming success. Other local women who also contributed to the event included Nida Warsi, who provided photography; Nazia Ahmed, who helped with inquiries; and Khaula Mazhar, who donated paintings for a silent auction which raised money for Syrian refugees. 

“I was thrilled with this outing,” commented Khan. “My makeup work is one way to make women feel beautiful, but I want to do so much more. When you bring different women together and provide them with a stress outlet, it is amazing to see just how quickly they respond. I want to thank everyone who supported and attended Diva’s Day Out, and I look forward to putting together many more events in the near future.”

Khan has an ambitious agenda of upcoming events that will empower women while keeping an eye out for fundraising opportunities. Projects in the pipeline include makeup workshops, a talent show, a family get-together in observance of the Eid Sacrifice Feast in July, and collecting non-perishable items to donate to local food banks.
