It’s always beneficial to notice local business celebrities and personalities who are doing good things in the world. Often these business people get so little recognition. Many don’t seek out media recognition because they’re too humble. The value of recognition and standout authority also isn’t taught in colleges or business schools.
Joshua has had a successful, long and winding business career even though he’s only in his mid-30s. Like many do in their 20s, he searched for the correct path in business and sought his own life’s purpose.
He’s made many contributions to the online advertising space. He helps a few thousand through the various LinkedIn groups he started or moderates.
He’s now moving into a phase of his life to help ‘knowledge sharers.’
Joshua says about the next phase of his entrepreneurial journey, “I’m more purpose driven at this stage in my business career. I help others absorb knowledge daily as naturally as they breathe. This will create such power in their lives and the world around them.”
Online education is booming business. In 2000, world-renowned leadership and management trainer Peter Drucker said in a Forbes article, “I believe that the U.S. now spends around $1 trillion on education and training. This number will increase rapidly, but the growth won’t be in traditional schools…The growth will be in continuing adult education.”
Peter Drucker was one of the voices who called it right.
In 2014, according to e-Learning Industry, “Today, e-Learning is a $56.2 billion industry, and it’s going to double by 2015. Corporations now report that e-Learning is the second most valuable training method that they use.”
This glimpse serves as a wake-up call.
Whether it’s online education or any other industry, it’s time to recognize more local business leaders. The world has plenty of negativity. The news at national and local levels sensationalizes the bad and atrocious events.
The world could use some positivity to balance this out. It starts when one person recognizes a standout authority leader. Then the domino effect can take hold.
