In an article featured on Business Innovators Magazine, Life Coach Niki Brown discusses the benefits of life coaching for millennials.
While Brown notes that life coaching is beneficial for women of any age, it is especially useful for millennials- women in their 20’s and early 30’s who have yet made major life decisions in their relationships or professions.
She notes “life coaching really should start when you’re in the millennial age, because you haven’t made any major life decisions yet in your relationships, in your career… When you’re in your thirties and forties, and you’ve got children, and you’ve got bills to pay, and you’re walking already in a certain career path, a profession, it is so much harder to turn around and say, “I’m going to start all over again, because this has been the wrong path I’ve been walking on for ten to fifteen, twenty years.”
To the degree that there is ‘no time like the present’ life coaching brings about a level of accountability. In fact for millennials she is quoted as saying in Business Innovators Magazine “life coaching helps millennials think outside the box in advance, in advance before they even get in the box.”
In regards to Brown’s job as a life coach, it is her calling. Helping women live more authentic lives and embracing their best selves is of the most importance. Furthermore, helping millennials benefit from the experience she notes can be a life changer.
