FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
Cincinnati, OH – May 26, 2017: Roofing Annex
Roofing Annex of Cincinnati, Ohio, has received the most prestigious contractor award GAF offers: The GAF President’s Club Award. This highly coveted award recognizes Roofing Annex as one of the “elite of the elite” residential roofing contractors in the United States.
GAF is North America’s largest roofing manufacturer, and only GAF Master Elite(R) Contractors can compete for its residential President’s Club Award. To qualify for this award, a residential roofing contractor must meet specific criteria in at least one out of three different pathways: the Performance pathway, where contractors focus on giving their property owners the best possible service, quality, and protection; the Reliability pathway, where the contractor has a long history of offering their customers the best quality and protection; and the Service pathway, where contractors consistently offer their customers the best protection available in the marketplace.
Roofing Annex has been a GAF Master Elite(R) Contractor since 2012; the company received the President’s Club Award due to its excellent performance in 2016. To become a Master Elite(R) Contractor–a status that less than 2% of roofing contractors nationwide are able to achieve–a candidate must demonstrate proper licensing, maintain insurance (in states that require it), have a proven reputation, and show commitment to ongoing professional training.
“We’re a real roofing company, not storm chasers.” Owner Joey Michels doesn’t mince words when describing what sets Roofing Annex apart from other contractors. “When we decided to open Roofing Annex, we made sure that we would do things differently than other companies.”
Michels explains how Roofing Annex differs from the majority of contractors. “Our guys who are selling the jobs do what they do best, selling and contracting jobs. Our dedicated staff of project managers and office staff orders the materials, manages the projects, and deals with insurance and mortgage, closing out the jobs. Our project managers are on-site and in constant communication with our homeowners from beginning until end, ensuring the job goes smoothly and that the homeowner is completely satisfied with the entire process and the finished product.”
“We take customer service very seriously here,” adds Michels, “and it shows in the recognition we’ve received. We’ve won the President’s Club Award for several consecutive years. We have well over 500 reviews, including 100 on GAF’s website and nearly as many on Angie’s List. We’ve won the Angie’s List Super Service Award, and we have an A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau, with another 40 reviews there. We’re certified not only with GAF but with every manufacturer we use–so we can give the absolute best warranties on every product. We don’t even use standard plywood; we have a synthetic Roofing Annex plywood manufactured for us, which takes ‘protecting the house’ to a whole new level. Once a potential customer does the research on us–well, it’s a no-brainer. Everything we do, we do it the best way that is humanly possible.”
Roofing Annex’s passion for customer satisfaction extends to community involvement, as well. “It’s important to invest in the community,” says Michels. “We work with Habitat for Humanity, the American Heart Association, the Anthony Muñoz Foundation, and other efforts within the community. We do try to give back.”
The company has no plans to slow down as it expands to other states. “We’re licensed in Maryland,” states Michels, “and having permanent locations in multiple states is a huge achievement.”
“We’ll continue what we’re doing,” concludes Michels, “replacing roofs and really changing the way people feel about roofing. Everything we do, we do it the best. That’s just who we are. Roofing Annex has been around long enough to know what needs to be done to change this industry. And we’re happy with that.”
