Augmented Publishing Group (APG) and Kynia Starkey have teamed up and begun a search for professionals who specialize in helping women have a better quality of life for an upcoming book project that will benefit Mocha Moms of the San Fernando Valley.

The Los Angeles-based firm Augmented Publishing Group just announced the official launch of their search for professionals to be featured in the upcoming book, “Just For Women — The Resources Every Woman Needs To Live The Life You Desire.”

Lisa Williams, the president of APG, confirmed that financial educator Kynia Starkey has signed on to head up the search team.

Williams stated, “We are thrilled to be able to attract the involvement of someone as respected as Ms. Starkey for this important project. She has incredible commitment and passion for the women, and is on a mission to provide resources and professionals who understand the needs and challenges women face as mothers, wives and in general.”

A citywide search is currently being conducted for professionals such as mortgage brokers, real estate attorneys, financial advisors, insurance agents, estate planning attorneys, tax professionals, caregivers, therapists, personal trainers, personal chefs, dating coaches, business coaches, special education professionals, massage therapists, fertility specialists and health coaches to round the project.

Explaining her search process, Starkey said, “I’m excited to spearhead this project!  I’ll be reaching out to a select group of professionals whom I feel are true educators and advocates for the success of women, while at the same time committed to spreading the word about a great cause.”  Williams and Starkey have pledged to donate 100 percent of their retail royalties to be donated to Mocha Moms of the San Fernando Valley.

Scheduled for a summer release, “Just For Women — The Resources Every Woman Needs to Live The Life You Desire,” will feature a chapter spotlighting each of the selected professionals who will share their insights and tips, as well as bust the myths and misconceptions that many women have as they live the different phases of their lives.

Williams described the book as “a powerful resource specifically for women to learn from professionals who work with and understand the unique concerns and challenges women sometimes have. The information will also tackle the most common challenges faced by women from starting over and securing their future to parenting and dating.”

According to Williams, several industry leaders have expressed an interest in participating. She and Starkey expect to make an announcement revealing the final selections by May 1st.

“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both Mocha Moms of the San Fernando Valley, and for the people we select to featured in the book. We really want to showcase those professionals who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause and the success of women. That’s what will make this a win-win project.”
