“The Million Dollar Smile”, currently scheduled for release in early 2018, will aim to provide patients with the most up-to-date information on state of the art dental treatment. The main purpose of the book, according to Blue Ocean Publishing Group’s purchasing agent, Anna Foster, is to give patients real, practical information to help them in obtaining the best possible restorative and cosmetic dental work.
The book will feature contributions from expert dentists selected from across the country who are skilled and trained in the latest dental treatment procedures. Foster notes that “These expert dentists can provide people with all the necessary information for anyone seeking cosmetic or restorative dental treatment.” Dr. Sutton, the producer of the DVD, “Simplified Smile Design”, will be contributing a chapter on teeth whitening, explaining the large variety of treatment options that are available for people looking to brighten up their smile.
Importantly, the book is being written in layman’s language that the average person can easily understand. It is intended not as a textbook for dental professionals, but as a helpful guide for ordinary people looking for top quality dental work. The expert contributors to “The Million Dollar Smile” are dentists who have advanced training and skills in modern dentistry and vast experience with procedures such as implants, veneers, and orthodontics.
Blue Ocean Publishing is working with Barak Granot of the dental marketing agency, DentoMetrix, to assemble the most knowledgeable team of experts as contributors to the book.
Dr. Sutton is one of the premier cosmetic dentists in the country, having received extensive training in cosmetic dentistry at one of the world’s leading post-graduate training institutions, The Pacific Aesthetic Continuum in San Francisco. He has also studied Advanced Occlusion at the prestigious Hornbrook Group. Dr. Sutton received his Doctorate degree from the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry in 1997, the same year he was named the only recipient for the coveted “Clinical Excellence Award”. In 2006, Dr. Sutton became one of the first dentists in northern California to earn a Fellowship in the Academy of Comprehensive Esthetics (ACE).
Dr. Sutton’s dedication to learning – he takes nearly 10 times the annual number of continuing education classes required for California dentists – has led him to become both an expert in cosmetic dental treatment techniques and a teacher of his fellow dentists. He has been a clinical instructor at UCSF for more than three years and is currently scheduling educational programs where he will be training other dentists in the art and science of cosmetic dentistry and digital photography. He trains other dental professionals on the newest dental materials and treatment techniques and their application to cosmetic dentistry.
