Horses Help Heroes Expands Services Geographically into Northern Virginia

Horses Help Heroes has partnered with Hope and Serenity Equestrian Center and Farm Sanctuary in Nokesville, Virginia to expand their services into Northern Virginia.

Horses Help Heroes announces that it is partnering with Hope and Serenity Equestrian Center and Farm Sanctuary in Nokesville, Virginia to expand services into Northern Virginia. Horses Help Heroes is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to enriching the lives of service-connected disabled veterans, their families and families who have lost loved ones while serving on active duty. The organization provides a variety of equine-related programs in a supportive environment at no cost to military veterans and families. Horses Help Heroes has been operating from two equestrian facilities in Bowie and Davidsonville, Maryland. This new partnership with Hope and Serenity Equestrian Center and Farm Sanctuary allows Horses Help Heroes to expand their reach to disabled veterans and their families as well as Gold Star Families. 

Hope and Serenity Equestrian Center and Farm Sanctuary, located in Nokesville, Virginia, is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to providing a stress-free environment that encourages relationships between their sanctuary horses and farm animals and the people who visit them. The organization serves the community by providing equine and other animal therapies to military veterans, first responders, and mentally and physically disabled people. Hope and Serenity Equestrian Center and Farm Sanctuary was founded by Renee Small and Laura Bosco. Both founders bring relevant experience. Small is a Licensed Veterinary Technician and Bosco is retired from the United States Air Force and is the widow of USAF Lieutenant Colonel Albert Bosco III.

Bosco said, “Partnering with Horses Helps Heroes is an exciting opportunity to work with an organization that shares the same goals of giving back to the Heroes and their families who have sacrificed so much. We love sharing the gift of animals who help heal and bring families together.”
