The International Remote Viewing Association (IRVA) will hold its 2026 Annual Conference October 1–4 at the Marriott Hotel at the University of Dayton. Under the theme “Return to the Military Operational Source,” the conference brings the remote viewing community to a city closely connected with the development of the U.S. military’s remote viewing program.
The four-day program will bring together former military remote viewers, researchers, instructors and practitioners to examine the history of remote viewing, discuss current research and explore its potential applications. Sessions will address topics including precognition, consciousness research, artificial intelligence and investigative uses of remote viewing. Remote viewing (RV) is a structured mental process by which a person attempts to obtain information about a distant or otherwise hidden target using non-ordinary perceptual means under controlled conditions.
Featured presenters include Dale Graff, a former director of the government’s Stargate remote viewing program; former military remote viewers Paul H. Smith and Lyn Buchanan; researcher and educator Debra Lynne Katz; and martial artist and author An-shu Stephen K. Hayes. The schedule also includes panels, research updates and interactive activities.
The conference welcomes people who are new to remote viewing as well as experienced practitioners. In-person registration includes lectures, workshops, panels and opportunities to practice with members of the field. Online and one-day registration options are also available.
The conference begins Thursday, October 1, at 3 p.m. and concludes Sunday, October 4, at 2 p.m. It will take place at the Marriott Hotel at the University of Dayton, 1414 South Patterson Boulevard, Dayton, Ohio.
