James Moux, MBA, is featured in the new book, “The Authority Mindset.” The book recently reached three Amazon Top Ten Best Seller lists and is currently available in the Amazon Kindle bookstore.
This triple best-selling book reached the #1 spot in the ‘Professional Development’ category, the #2 slot in the ‘E-Commerce’ category, and the #4 slot in the ‘Web Marketing’ category on Wednesday August 13, 2014.
The book was compiled from conversations, mastermind sessions and the experience of top marketing consultants around the world on the specific and powerful topic of Authority Positioning. Each contributing author has spent years helping entrepreneurs, business owners and professionals, not just with marketing tactics, but with developing “The Authority Mindset” that is required to gain the expert recognition from prospects, customers and even national media.
Thinking back, Moux, started showing a talent for entrepreneurship when he was twelve, while delivering newspapers as he constantly sought to expand his paper route. He has worked in different fields over the course of his career, gaining skills that he uses in his businesses today. In addition to his early experiences as a paper boy and starting a magazine, he also worked in the pharmaceutical industry in sales and later on, in marketing.
Moux then moved into real estate, specializing in residential real estate sales and mortgage financing. “And that’s actually my main area of expertise: real estate marketing, from a real estate company standpoint. We market to get new clients, direct to consumers,” Moux explains. “I work on lead generation for the business. I work with people who are looking to sell their current home, and also those looking to purchase and finance a new home,” he adds.
Moux is also a big fan of learning from others both in person and through online courses, which have helped him improve his skillset. “I don’t think I’ll ever know enough so I’m always looking to increase my knowledge,” he says. Moux currently helps business owners put systems in place to generate and convert leads. He’s also helping these professionals establish their authority in their local marketplace so potential clients recognize them as an authority and decide to do business with them.
