National and World Team Rosters Announced For Highly Anticipated New Balance Future Stars Series International Week In August

Global athletic leader New Balance and Program 15, the premiere baseball player development and training system, have announced the rosters for the National and World Teams set to compete at the The New Balance Future Stars Series International Week in Sugar Land, Tx beginning August 14th.

The Future Stars Series nationwide search for amateur baseball talent which was started as an initiative to ‘Change The Game’ of baseball between New Balance and Program 15 in 2016 will land at Constellation Field in Sugar Land, TX August 14-17.

The Future Stars Series International Week is an invitation only series featuring international high school talent identified by PROGRAM 15’s National Staff of former Major League and professional baseball veterans through Future Stars Series Regional Combines and Development Camps and the recent Future Stars Series National Trials – Championship Tournaments held in Houston, TX.

The National team roster includes top amateur players from the U.S. and the World team top players from Canada, Japan, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Colombia, and Mexico.

 The two teams will go head to head in a three-game series with the winner being crowned as the inaugural New Balance Future Stars Series World Champions.

Former Player and General Manager of the Houston Astros, Manager of World Series winning New York Yankees and MLB Vice President of On-Field Discipline, Bob Watson, is scheduled to make a special appearance to address the players.

All Tournament players will be outfitted head-to-toe from Future Stars Series Sponsors.

New Balance will provide each player with Uniforms, Equipment Bags, Workout Attire and Footwear (BP Jackets, Shirt, Shorts, Turfs and Spikes).

Zinger Bats will provide two bats for each player

Scouts, Coaches, and Staff will be using evaluation and development tools provided by:

Future Stars Series Path for Individual Players
The Future Stars Series international search for undiscovered talent begins with Regional Combines and Development Camps.  

Players identified by PROGRAM 15’s National Staff of former Major League and professional baseball veterans are submitted to New Balance Baseball for advancement and potential selection to Regional, National, and International team rosters.

Future Stars Series Regional Team rosters are divided into Upperclass and Underclass Divisions. Players selected by New Balance Baseball will be invited to participate in the Future Stars Series National Event in Houston, TX where they will compete for a spot on National and World Teams.

Future Stars Series International Weekend
Elite players identified through Regional Combines, Tournaments and the National Event will be invited to join either the World (International Players) or National (U.S. Players) Team Rosters and compete at The Future Stars Series International Weekend

International Weekend is the signature event of Program15 and the New Balance
Baseball Future Stars Series.  Held in Houston, TX, this highly anticipated annual event featuring top amateur baseball players from Canada, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, Japan, Colombia, Cuba, Mexico, and the USA.

The Future Stars Series Partner Programs
The New Balance Baseball Future Stars Series and Program 15 have experienced exponential growth over the last year, grabbing the attention of over 70 of the most respected organizations in amateur baseball who have come on board as Regional Directors and Partners.

Future Stars Series Partner Program extends to geographic regions throughout the United States, Canada, and Puerto Rico.

Each Region is comprised of a maximum of 16 Travel Organizations. As a convenience to player families and travel arrangements, Regions are led by a Director based in a centrally located hub for the program.

Partner Programs compete in Regional Tournaments to advance to the National Event in Houston, TX, where a true Future Stars Series National Champion is crowned.
