Steve Trout was born on a farm near Casey in East Central, Illinois. Growing up on a farm and learning the value of hard work was a great life experience. It certainly helped in dealing with setbacks later in life.
Steve paid for college working on the construction of Interstate Route 70 which went through the middle of the family farm.
After graduating from Eastern Illinois University, Steve taught junior high school and coached football, basketball, and track.
Steve married his wife Debbie and moved to Lakeland, Florida with $300 in their pocket looking for new opportunities. After two years of teaching, Steve and Debbie moved to Cape Coral, Florida where they now live. Steve continued teaching but not coaching and concentrated on his part-time sales business.
