Wanda Rogers Certified WBENC WBE Receives the Catalyst Award for Outstanding Leadership and Community Impact

Wanda Rogers a WBENC Certified WBE and the visionary Founder of Construction Service Workers and Principal Owner of the sole African American Woman-owned construction staffing agency in the United States, has been named the esteemed recipient of the Catalyst Award at the ORV Bold and Brilliant Event, held on May 9, 2024, at the Hilton downtown Columbus.

In 2009, Wanda Rogers identified a critical need for job creation within the construction industry. With a mission to enhance the economy while addressing the demand for skilled tradespeople, she established Construction Service Workers. Her pioneering leadership has not only revolutionized her company but has also profoundly impacted her community. 

As a WBENC Certified Womens Business Enterprise (WBE) in Southern California, Wanda Rogers is the owner of SoCal Pre-Apprenticeship Program. This innovative initiative equips individuals with job readiness skills and guides them toward rewarding careers in skilled trades. Through comprehensive training programs, Wanda is committed to “upskilling untapped talent in underserved communities” and facilitating economic stability for individuals.
