On a recent episode of Business Innovators Radio with Nina Hershberger, Ann Carden, Strategic Business Growth Consultant, discussed how businesses can rapidly scale up by creating a high ticket offer around their area of expertise or highest profit service or product.

According to Carden, every business has the opportunity to create and sell a high-ticket product or service in their business. No matter if they are a professional services business or a local brick and mortar business, taking the time to package an offer that is a minimum of 10 times their normal offer is a game changer for any business.

That is why Carden focuses first on creating a high ticket offer whenever she consults with clients.  Having worked in over 40 different business industries, she knows there’s always a high ticket offer possibility.

When host Nina Hershberger asked what her definition of high ticket was, Carden answered, “A high ticket offer is usually in the thousands of dollars. Think of a chiropractor who normally charges $50 per visit for an adjustment.  By focusing on their area of expertise I help them identify and package an offer than can be as much as $5,000.”

Carden goes on to explain that the offer cannot take an exponential amount of time for the business owner. It has to be structured in such a way that the clients and prospects want the high-ticket item and are willing to pay the higher amount and that the delivery of the offer takes minimal time for the business owner.

The interview concluded with Carden explaining that creating a high ticket offers results in massive leaps in businesses.  It all starts with identifying what’s proprietary to that owner. What can they sell that no one else is selling and then become known as the expert for that thing?  The reason more business owners haven’t done this is that they simply haven’t thought of it or they don’t know how to do it.
