Augmented Publishing Group Begins Search for Local Business Group Leaders to Partner in Upcoming Book Projects

Published on April 13, 2016

Augmented Publishing Group is looking to partner with multiple local business group leaders in various cities for their new book series, and have begun a search for leaders to join the community project.

The Los Angeles-based firm Augmented Publishing Group (APG) just announced the official launch of their search for local business group leaders to join forces with them as they publish a series of books that will feature local business owners. The upcoming book series is entitled, “Local Business Leaders: The Benefits of Working With A Community-Minded Business.”

Explaining the search process, Williams said, “This is an important book for us, so we’ll be reaching out to a select group of business group leaders whom we feel are true educators and advocates, that run meaningful groups with quality business owners, and, at the same time, are committed to spreading the word about the project and the non-profit organization that we will designate to receive our retail book royalties.”

Augmented Publishing Group has pledged 100 percent of the book royalties to a local charity to be determined for each project. They are creating community goodwill opportunities that will help local schools and non-profit organizations to gain exposure and donations.

A citywide search is currently being conducted for business group leaders with members in areas such as consultants, mortgage and real estate professionals, financial advisors, attorneys, brick-and-mortar businesses, health and wellness professionals, business coaches, network marketing companies, etc.

The book series is scheduled for a summer release, starting with the first edition, “Local Business Leaders: The Benefits of Working With A Community-Minded Business.” Each edition will include interviews from professionals who belong to local business groups and who will provide their insights and expertise, and share how they serve their local community.

Williams said, “This book isn’t just about the local business professionals who will be featured. Those who are selected should be passionate about their community and the families they serve. It’s always nice to know that you are working with business owners who give back and participate in supporting their community.”

As several industry leaders have expressed an interest in participating, Williams is expected to make an announcement revealing the final selections by May 1st.

However, Williams asserted, “One of the reasons we launched this search is because we didn’t want to go the route of filling this book with the stereotypical ‘experts.’ This search would be unnecessary if that was the case.

“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both the local charities that will be highlighted and the people we select to be featured in the book, so we really want to showcase those business owners who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and who are willing to give back to their community by benefiting a great cause. That’s what will make this a win-win project.”
