In response to the book hitting Number One in several different categories, Oldfield stated, “I’m thrilled to see my dream become reality.”
After teaching fitness to hundreds of people over the age of fifty and recognizing the need for simple and safe fitness programs they can do at home, Oldfield decided it was time to write this book. “The response has been incredible,” said Oldfield.
The book features three at-home fitness programs that anyone can do, no matter their fitness level.
Oldfield was motivated to finish writing her book after learning that an old friend had been diagnosed with terminal cancer. She was hit hard with the news. Oldfield said, “When we are in our fifties, we think that we have lots of time to complete our goals. But I was reminded that life is short and that’s when I decided that I had to buckle down and finish this book.”
Oldfield added, “Get busy. Make your dreams come true because no one is going to do the work for you!”
Oldfield’s biggest hope is that her book helps to motivate people to be strong and genuine, live each day to the fullest, and make all of their dreams come true along the way.
