Gary and Sharon Worrell, founders of Strategies for Healing, were recently interviewed on the Influential Entrepreneurs podcast. The Strategies for Healing Wellness Center takes a holistic approach to healing, where alternative modalities are used for addressing stress in the body and emotions, bringing the body into relaxation. When stress is reduced, all other therapies are more effective.

One treatment modality is the Pulse ElectroMagnetic Field, or PEMF. This FDA-registered therapy is used to reduce swelling and pain, promote blood circulation, and stimulate the immune system. “One client came in, having dislocated an ankle that was very swollen and painful,” she said. “We used PEMF to bring circulation and enhance healing.”

Sharon Worrell, BCBC, holds a board certification in Biblical Counseling. Gary Worrell, M.S., spent many years in the corporate training world before obtaining a Masters’ Degree in counseling and starting a private practice in Denver in 2007.

Gary emphasized that what sets Strategies for Healing apart is that it draws from different cutting-edge modalities to provide the greatest benefits. One of these is the Life Vessel Chamber, which utilizes light, sound, vibrational frequency and infrared to bring the body into total relaxation.

If the parasympathetic system is suppressed, there is no ability to bring the body into balance. Although each client’s response is different, we have seen the Chamber reduce stress levels from a level of almost 500 down to 70 in just two sessions.”
