C5 Insight’s Geoff Ables has been selected to present two sessions at Digital Workplace Summit scheduled for March 27-29 in Las Vegas.
Geoff Ables, C5 Insight Managing Partner, will be the speaker at two interactive sessions of Digital Workplace Summit in Las Vegas. The first session on March 27 is titled, “Building a Digital Workplace Governance Strategy That Drives User Adoption.” Although governance is something that most organizations talk about, few know what it is, especially as it relates to the intranet and where to start. Ables developed this session from more than 10 years of watching organizations struggle with defining and implementing governance. He will be going back to basics to help participants truly understand what governance really means, why governance is important, how to develop a usable governance strategy, how to start simple, and how to inform employees and upper management of new intranet guidelines and rules.
In his second session, Ables will present “Lead the Leaders – How to Go Beyond Buy-In and Gain Leadership Engagement for Your SharePoint Project” on March 28. Most business leaders understand that a successful SharePoint project can be a significant factor in improving productivity, innovation and employee satisfaction; however, few understand the role of leadership in SharePoint success. In this session, participants will gain principles and practical tips on going beyond leadership buy-in to gain active engagement of their leadership team. Ables will discuss how to influence executives to engage with the SharePoint project as well as how to help colleagues understand that change can begin with them, no matter where they sit in the organization.
