For-mukwai’s winter workshop series stretch from the Pacific North Coast of Astoria, to the Cascade Mountains. From November to January, For-mukwai presents bi-monthly workshops for business owners across various fields including accounting, marketing, estate planning, investment planning and creative artists. Recently more business owners from technical fields such as engineering, architecture and urban planning attend his business storytelling workshops to learn how to leverage their stories to build successful small businesses.
The winter workshop series is conducted in partnership with local associations, non-profits, and community colleges and organizations such as the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Hoffman Center for the Arts, Beaverton Public Libraries and Clatsop Community College.
For-mukwai kicks off the workshop series in Beaverton, Oregon on November 15. In collaboration with Beaverton Public Library, he presents “Business Storytelling for Lead Generation and High Visibility” as part of the library‘s 7-week program called Be Your Own Boss which features local business experts. Each session is geared at helping small businesses develop critical skills needed in starting and running a successful business within Portland’s hi-tech corridor. The Business Storytelling for Lead Generation and High Visibility segment focuses on helping small businesses acquire narrative persuasion skills needed in generating leads, nurturing those leads, and converting them into paying customers.
As a business story consultant and strategist, For-mukwai has worked with businesses in Asia, America, Middle East, Africa and Europe, helping them craft and share engaging and persuasive business stories for both profit and non-profit purposes.
