Green Light Publishing Launches Search for Home Improvement Contractors Across the Country to be Featured in New Book Project

Published on April 22, 2016

Green Light Publishing begins the search nationwide for home improvement professionals to be included in their upcoming book project that will benefit Habitat for Humanity.

Tavis Bucklin, President of Green Light Publishing Company confirmed they have officially launched a nationwide search for Home Improvement Professionals to be featured in the upcoming book, “Before the Project”.

Explaining the search process, Bucklin said, “This is an important book for us, so we’ll be reaching out to a select group of home improvement professionals we feel are true educators and advocates for the success of homeowners and their projects, while at the same time committing to spread the word about a great organization like Habitat for Humanity.”

Green Light Publishing Company has pledged 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the book to be donated to Habitat for Humanity.

Scheduled for a summer release, “Before the Project” will spotlight each of the home improvement professional selected from this search, sharing their insights and real world experience.

Bucklin said, “This book isn’t just about HOW to get the job done. The home improvement professionals we select are passionate about helping homeowners. The books conception is to provide answers to the most frequently asked questions and bust the myths and misconceptions so many people have about tackling a home improvement project. “Before the Project” will cover little known pitfalls that can stall projects: the small but significant details that can sabotage a project, and detour a homeowner’s confidence. Care must be taken in areas such as preparation, scheduling, and material availability among other temperamental elements.”

Bucklin went on to describe the book as, “A powerful resource for homeowners who want to tackle a home improvement project with confidence”.

With several industry leaders expressing interest in participating in the collaboration, Green Light Publishing Company is expected to make an announcement revealing the final selections by the end of May.

However, Bucklin asserted, “One of the reasons we launched this search is because we didn’t want to go the route of filling this book with the stereotypical ‘Experts’. This search would be unnecessary if that was the case.

“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both Habitat for Humanity and the people we select to feature in the book, so we really want to showcase those Home Improvement Professionals who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause and the success of those homeowners that want to go the extra mile to make their house a home. That’s what will make this a win, win, win project.”
