Jason Greer to Highlight the Role of Neuroscience in Diversity at the Academy of Brain Based Leadership Global Exchange

Published on October 19, 2016

Jason Greer, brain based diversity expert and author, will speak at the upcoming Academy of Brain Based Leadership Global Exchange to be held on October 20-21 at the Hilton Santa Clara, Silicon Valley, California.

New research in neuroscience is revealing the pivotal role that brain plays in balancing complex decision making processes, especially when it comes to managing diversity in today’s corporations. Jason Greer, CEO and President of Greer Consulting and a renowned speaker on the subject of diversity, will be presenting at the Academy of Brain Based Leadership Global Exchange, to be held on October 20-21 at the Hilton Santa Clara, Silicon Valley, California.

Research has demonstrated that 99% of our decisions, motivations and reactions are driven by the automatic and non-conscious processes of the brain. Academy of Brain Based Leadership is thus conducting the ABL-X (#ABLX2016) forum where global participants can exchange ideas, gain insights and give a push to the interdisciplinary field of integrative, applied neuroscience. The Academy is dedicated to exploring this new frontier in leadership, and bridging the gap between ‘knowing’ and ‘doing’.

More insights have come in the recent past on the role of the human brain in handling diversity. “Google reveals that… we need a sense of perceived safety for optimal performance,” says Phil Dixon, Founder and CEO, Academy of Brained Based Leadership. Dr. Dan Radecki states in the Harvard Business Review that, with society evolving faster than the brain, “we still have that old evolutionary bias generating an intense fear of uncertainty, and react in a fight/flight response.”

“I am excited about presenting at the ABL-X conference. Greer Consulting, Inc., is at the forefront of the application of neuroscience to the world of diversity. Every day, we are given the amazing opportunity to share our insights on diversity and the brain with corporate organizations all across the country,” said Jason Greer.

Greer Consulting Inc. works to offer solutions that deal with diversity, labor relations and management concerns. In the past, Jason Greer has led discussions on the relation between brain and diversity at various platforms, such as American Council of Independent Laboratories Annual meeting, and the Missouri State Council of SHRM conference (‘Diversity and the Brain: What’s Your Story?’).

Jason is a professional speaker on topics related to racial reconciliation, management training combining his natural wit and storytelling abilities with his background in counseling and conflict resolution. “I’m honored beyond belief to be a presenter at the ABL-X conference. There will be a number of well respected speakers in the industry, so I’m proud to be able to share my message with an amazing audience,” explained Jason Greer.
