Local Business Mavericks Volume 19, is a compilation of 1 on 1 conversations with some of the top entrepreneurs in their industry. Each contributing author reveals their strategies for helping overcome the toughest obstacles standing in the way of their customers success.
Jason Madden, “The You 1.0 is not necessarily bad, it got you to where you are in life. But, what other possibilities are there? What can you do to become better, and to achieve what you want in life? Whether it’s income, lifestyle, wealth, or equity, I help my clients to find clarity on what that might mean to them.
So another thing that we kind of deal with is looking at possibility, options, and dreams. A lot of people don’t really consider business ownership as something like that. But what if you found something that you never even heard of? Ninety-five percent of the clients I’ve worked with, they get into something that they probably would have prematurely dismissed right away, or never even really looked at on their own. And what I do with that is kind of cool thing. Sometimes I’ll look at something with a client and I’ll throw them something that they’ll be like, “Hey Jason, that doesn’t even match my skills or experience. You’re totally off base.” And then they check it out. And they love it.” That is the purpose of the discovery and learning about different opportunities in a safe space.
Jason states, “It’s about being self-sufficient through business ownership. Why just strive to come anonymous in our employment, sometimes you fall into the trap of staying unhappy in our careers. Due to fears of taking a leap and making a change. So if you’re unsatisfied in your current career, and you’re looking to turn your employment situation around, we circle right back, so you can transform into the You 2.0. Then we move from employment to empowerment.”
Jason Madden grew up in Butte, Montana and currently lives in Chelmsford, MA with his wife, Maureen, an active duty Air Force officer. Jason served in the US Marine Corps for 4 years, followed by 12 years of Active Duty Army service, specializing in military intelligence and infantry operations. He has a master’s certificate in project management from Penn State, and a BS in business management. Despite separating from the military, Jason’s love for serving others and making an impact on the world has not changed; he felt that the mission of The Entrepreneur’s Source would align well with these values.
