School for Startups Radio welcomed the “pioneer of authority marketing”, Brian Horn, as the featured guest in the episode titled, Authority Builder Brian Horn.
Brian explained why authority marketing has exploded in popularity the last year, and how the audience can use it to their advantage.
Horn explained, “Authority marketing is the process for positioning someone as an authority, or even a celebrity, in their marketplace in order to grow their sphere of influence and increase sales.”
In his many years in this field, Brian has learned what works and what doesn’t in the process of increasing a client’s perceived value with authority marketing.
“Increasing your perceived value leads to many benefits which impact every part of the sales cycle. For instance, once you develop authority, you no longer have to chase sales leads and prospects. In fact, you’ll find that they will find you and your offers,” said Horn.
In addition to tactical information, Horn shared some of his best stories and experiences. Some of these included clients and celebrities like Howard Stern, Vanilla Ice, Richard Simmons, Perez Hilton and many others.
