Youngry, a new media platform plans to unite the growing number of entrepreneurs worldwide

A new generation of entrepreneurs have set the stage for the future of business. The group  known as the millennials includes individuals between the ages of 20 to 35 years old. This generation is starting more companies than other generations according to a recent survey from the 2016 BNP Paribas Global Entrepreneur Report. The report based on Scorpio Partnership consultancy  surveyed 2,600 high-end net-worth entrepreneurs from 18 countries. The combined  worth of these “Millennipreneurs” were just over $17 billion.

As the fastest growing segment of entrepreneurs today, millennials  are starting their own businesses at a rate unseen by any other generation. The group born between 1981-1997, have surpassed the Baby Boomers as the largest living generation on earth. From pursuing a more flexible work environment to seeking a challenge, millennial entrepreneurs all have their own reasons and motivations for starting a business instead of settling into a traditional career path.

However, many will say the road to self-employment can be a long one. Some claim the endless hours of working toward their goals can leave this group in a feeling of solitude.

There is a new company with a mission to connect these innovators and trendsetters with a new platform dedicated to entrepreneurship.

“With over a billion early stage entrepreneurs worldwide, it’s time that we hear their voices, their challenges, and successes, instead of the 1% that consistently gets covered.” a statement made by youngry.com an entrepreneur media company that claims to be the “ESPN for entrepreneurship”.

In a recent interview with Business Innovators Magazine the company’s founder, Ash Kumra said, “I wanted to create an entrepreneur media platform to showcase the stories of our heroes and also highlight the updates that the young and hungry entrepreneurs globally are doing.”

The company mission is to unite the entrepreneurship ecosystem with a democratized platform for entrepreneurship news, original video programming, and e-commerce products to help an entrepreneur become successful.

Currently, Youngry boasts an entrepreneur list of  over 100,000  users and have entrepreneur community relationships with over 40 major hubs. The platform’s advisory board includes top female angel Jesse Draper, best-selling entrepreneur author Ryan Blair, CNBC Hustles Investor Kumar Arora, Ad.pl.e from the Black Eyed Peas, TV personality/serial entrepreneur Lisa Song among others.

The company has launched an equity crowdfunding  campaign with plans to reveal the content platform officially later this Fall.
