Optima Publishing Launches Search For Make-Up Artists to Be Featured In New Book Project

Published on May 11, 2016

Whether psychological or vanity - there are many reasons women choose to wear makeup.

Optima Publishing begins the search for Make-Up Artists to be included in their upcoming book project that will benefit Caterina’s Club.

Beverly Boyko-Winter, President of Optima Publishing confirmed they have officially launched a Nationwide search for Make-Up Artists, to be featured in the upcoming book, “Make-Up Evolution”.

Explaining the search process, Boyko-Winter said, “This is an important book for us, so we’ll be reaching out to a select group of Make-Up Artists we feel are true advocates for the success of empowering women nationwide, while at the same time committing to spread the word about a great organization like Caterina’s Club.”

Optima Publishing has pledged 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the book  to be donated to Caterina’s Club.

Scheduled for a summer release, “Make-Up Evolution” will spotlight each of the Make-Up Artists selected from this search, sharing their insights and real world experience on Make-Up and how it means something different to each woman at varying stages of their life.

Boyko-Winter said, “This book isn’t just about lipstick, foundation, or eyeliner. The Make-Up Artists we select are passionate about helping women feel good about themselves. They will answer the most common questions and bust the myths and misconceptions so many people have about Make-Up.”  ‘Make-Up Evolution’ will cover how make-up changes the confidence and psychology in a woman with deformities, genetic disorders and a lot of information that is rarely talked about”.

Boyko-Winter went on to describe the book as, “… a powerful resource for women who want/need to look good,” even if they are apprehensive about how to go about it.

With several industry leaders expressing interest in participating, Optima Publishing is expected to make an announcement revealing the final selections by June 3, 2016.

However, Boyko-Winter asserted, “One of the reasons we launched this search is because we didn’t want to go the route of filling this book with the stereotypical ‘Experts.’  This search would be unnecessary if that was the case.

“We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both Caterina’s Club and the people we select to feature in the book, so we really want to showcase those Make-Up Artists who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause and the success of teaching every woman how to be beautiful.  That’s what will make this a win, win win project.”
