Real estate investor, entrepreneur, and budding author Monick Halm recently published her first book to help women enter the world of real estate investments. The book is called “The Real Estate Investor Goddess Handbook” and it details the seven steps women can take to become a successful real estate investor.
Halm is the Founder of Real Estate Investor Goddess, and through this company, she educates, mentors and supports women who are interested in real estate. Her goal is to help these women create a passive income stream for themselves and get off the hamster wheel of trading time for money and according to Halm, the most important aspect of her business is the fact that it involves a community of women investors who support each other’s goals.
The new book fits perfectly with her company’s philosophy and will serve as a guide to women interested in real estate. Although written with women in mind, the book is valuable to everyone. As Halm puts it, “Steps one through six are really anything that anybody needs to be successful and step seven is about how does a woman, in particular, invest in real estate successful. “
It is the seventh step that most directly speaks to Halm’s business philosophy. This step is what Halm calls, “The Goddess Secret Sauce” and this sauce includes intuition, pleasure, and sisterhood. Halm’s book explains how using all three can lead to freedom, and a difference in your lifestyle. For Halm, these three ingredients are key to being successful, especially establishing a sisterhood. As she explains, “Women biologically wired to be around other women and that sisterhood makes us more successful. So, all of those three things – the intuition, the pleasure, and the sisterhood – are a part of successfully investing as a woman, as a goddess.”
This book also attempts to break through the misconceptions women might have about real estate investing. Halm point out that most women think they have to do everything by themselves, or that they have to spend years in school or invest a significant amount of money in classes or training. She uses this book to dispel those myths, so that the world of real estate investing is open to women who land in the middle to working class, giving them the same opportunities to succeed.
As a companion to the book, Halm also revealed her program to get women more involved in real estate. The program is called “The Real Estate Investor Goddesses Wealth Builders Program” and Halm uses it to teach women everything they need to know to make their first real estate investment, and to continue to make such investments so that they can eventually replace their current income which will allow them to either continue working or have the option to live a life with more freedom because they no longer have to trade time for money. The program teaches women the real estate vocabulary, how to find the right market and property, and how to obtain financing.
