For Immediate Release – Evergreen CO, October 14, 2015: Richard Bryan is a seasoned leadership speaker and business consultant who understands first-hand what it takes to guide a business to success. He will be very busy in the coming months spreading his insights about simple strategies that can be used to transform any organization.
In today’s ever-changing economic environment, Bryan teaches business leaders at all levels how to surmount challenges they face every day such as new ownership, attracting the right people, developing great leaders, generational succession, and forced downsizing. He focuses on training CEOs to work “ON the business rather than IN the business,” and provides simple strategies to dramatically improve business performance.
In September he presented “Lessons from Frank – Leadership Strategies to Transform Your District” during an opening keynote address to Special District Association (SDA) of Colorado, and provided a keynote for the Bristol Property Dinner in Bristol, UK. Next up, he will speak twice on the topic of “Common Sense Leadership” at the Emerging Lead(HR) Conference for the Society for Human Resource Management conference in San Antonio, TX.
“During my speeches I help business owners and senior managers focus on their top priorities,” commented Bryan. “This helps them manage their business more effectively and save time, while increasing the bottom line.” His presentations are often infused with lessons learned after he suddenly became a fourth generation CEO in a $120 million family-owned business, Bryan Brothers Limited, at the age of 28. With the support of a caring mentor named Frank, an ex-special forces member with a fine arts degree, Bryan was slowly able to pull the business out of a $3.5 million per year loss and help it become a thriving business once again.
To accomplish this, Richard’s leadership style had to mature from a controlling micro-manager to supportive coach and mentor. Now he teaches his audiences how to do this in their own organizations and achieve equally dramatic results. Next up on Bryan’s busy speaking agenda are a keynote and half-day workshop for The Executive Foundation in London, UK, a keynote at the HDI Awards Luncheon in Denver, CO, and a presentation to the Colorado Society of CPAs in Denver. He has already been booked to talk to the John Deere dealership network at a Dallas conference in February 2016.
“Being the leader of any organization can be a solitary existence. I help business owners and CEOs to look at their business objectively with an outside point of view so that they can better prioritize how they spend their time and allocate their resources. This is particularly important when it comes to succession planning which is one of the most difficult challenges many leaders will face during their career.”
Richard Bryan attended Clifton College and holds a BA in Business Organization from Heriot-Watt University in Edinburgh Scotland. With over 20 years of senior leadership roles in the automotive and real estate industries, he knows the challenges leaders face in business today and works to help them overcome these obstacles. He is a professional member of the National Speakers Association and is also a Board Member of the NSA-Colorado chapter.
