Smart Press Publishing Launches Search for Business Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Community Leaders to be Featured in New Book Project

Published on May 15, 2018

Smart Press Publishing begins the search for Business Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Community Leaders to be included in their upcoming book project that will benefit Heroes – Firefighters, Law Enforcement, Medical Personnel, Teachers, & Military Members and nonprofit HOPE4BLUE.

Andrea C. Steward, a retired Los Angeles Police Department (PSR) Police Service Representative — 911 operator, retired veteran and real estate agent has been chosen as the lead contributor for new book project from Smart Press Publishing. The publishing house has confirmed they have officially launched a search for Business Professionals, Entrepreneurs and Community Leaders in Ventura County and surrounding counties, to be featured in the upcoming book, “Helping Heroes.”

The book will be a resource designed to help public servants of all types. Steward explains the search process this way. “This is an important book for me, and I am honored to be leading the charge.  Smart Press Publishing will be releasing a book specifically to support and benefit heroes that will include profiles of local business owners and community leaders who they feel are true advocates for the success of their customers and community, while at the same time willing to give back and spread the word about a great organization like HOPE4BLUE.”

Smart Press Publishing has pledged that 100% of the royalties from the retail sales of the book will be donated to HOPE4BLUE, a national nonprofit that raises funds to support every police officer and every police agency in America.

Scheduled for release in July 2018, “Helping Heroes“ will feature conversations with leading professionals & specialists who will share their insights and real world experience as well as valuable business information to help heroes lead their best life.

Steward said, “I’m excited and passionate about this book project.  Heroes deserve to be honored and this book allows me and the other contributors to give back to those that give to us by providing a resource that can help them in all aspects of their life.   The people we select to be included in this book are passionate about their business and the people they help. They will share valuable information and bust the myths and misconceptions around some of the most common and not so common situations we all face in life. ‘Helping Heroes’ will cover information that will enhance public servant’s lives in the financial, legal, health, retirement, real estate, and family areas, and more.”

With several industry leaders expressing interest in participating, Smart Press Publishing is expected to announce the final selections in May, just in time for the national month that recognizes and celebrates firefighters, law enforcement, teachers & nurses.

However, Steward asserted, “One of the reasons we launched this search is because we did not want to go the route of filling this book with the stereotypical ‘Experts.’ This search would be unnecessary if that was the case. We anticipate a lot of exposure around this project, for both HOPE4BLUE and the people we select to feature in the book, so we really want to showcase those business professionals, entrepreneurs and community leaders who are actually in the trenches, working hard every day and willing to share that experience to benefit a great cause and to show support to heroes for their great service. That is what will make this a win-win project.”

Steward will be visiting schools, hospitals, and police and fire stations starting in May to honor heroes and letting them know that this resource will be available to them by mid-summer.

‘Helping Heroes’ will be available in Digital and Paperback editions through Amazon as well as most major online and offline bookstores and retailers.
