Building on the success of its 2015 debut, DC Swim Week, the Mid-Atlantic’s premier summertime fashion event, returns July 20-23, 2016 with even more designers, models and venues.

After its impressive 2015 debut, DC Swim Week, the Mid-Atlantic’s premier summertime fashion event, is returning to Washington, DC with for four incredible nights July 20-23, 2016.

Each evening fashion show will feature 4-5 leading edge designers and 20-30 beautiful male and female models at venues including L2 Lounge, Cafe Milano, Penthouse Pool and Lounge and the Embassy Row Hotel.

“I can’t believe how this event has just exploded!” said DC Swim Week Founder and Creative Director, Moh Ducis, “The momentum and energy that developed organically during last year’s event was amazing but the way that things are taking off this year is truly incredible.”

The success of the inaugural event – including a featured segment on BRAVO Television’s Real Housewives of Potomac – has attracted even more leading edge fashion designers from across the U.S. and around the world. Fifteen fashion artists, including Parisian designer Banana Moon, Colombian designer Estevez and Brazil’s Agua de Coco, have already registered to show their lines, with more designers signing on every week.

“DC Swim Week 2016 is a wonderful opportunity for us to present our beautiful new line to the Washington area’s extremely affluent young marketplace,” stated Lisa Opie of Miami’s Vizcaya Swimwear. “We are so excited to be back after the great success we had at last year’s event.”

Two world-class brands – Victoria’s Secret and Oakley – have already signed on as 2016 sponsors, with other important partners such as Washington Life Magazine and Destination Hotels returning from last year. Additional sponsors targeting the event’s audience of image-conscious, high-income, male and female 18-35 year-old consumers will be announced as they sign-on for the limited partnership slots available.

“We are extremely excited to be partnering with DC Swim Week again this year,” said Olivier le Ru-Riboulot, Director of Brand and Marketing Communications at Urban Adventures Companies, Inc., operators of the Penthouse Pool and Lounge, site of DC Swim Week’s Day 3 fashion show, July 22nd. “Moh has an incredible talent for bringing together fashion, music and beautiful people to create uniquely exciting events.”

In addition to the four consecutive nights of fun and fashion in July, male and female swimwear models will be making appearances at a variety of locations throughout the DC area over the coming weeks.
