Tashion Macon, a noted brand strategist and spiritual psychologist, has joined a number of key women’s health and wellness experts as a contributing essayist to the upcoming multi-authored book, “Top Professionals Give Expert Advice on Women’s Health and Wellness: The Unique Challenges Middle-Aged Women Face & How to Make Them Your Best Years.” Co-authors Lisa Williams and Glenda Clare, Ph.D. gladly welcomed Macon to the group, knowing that her contribution will enhance the combination of professionals who will give their advice.
Macon’s piece will address women who are living inauthentic lives, and who are looking for wholeness and change. Her chapter is titled, “The Woman Who Says: ‘I’ve Had Enough, It’s Time to Make a Change!’” Macon says, “I am excited to share and to help woman understand why and how to choose themselves. Hurt people hurt other people. Abandoned people abandon other people. A depleted person depletes others. I hope that women who are reading this will stop shadow-dancing so they can live the life they were meant to live.”
Macon’s daily work is broad and complex, but her themes remain the same. She blends the timeless topics related to faith, fame and freedom, and works to teach clients how to be their best selves and unearth their untapped good. She speaks to the authentic self and has helped Grammy Award-winning artists, theologians, corporate executives and artisans on the move to find centered, successful careers without losing their faith, integrity and humanity.
The collaborative effort, “Top Professionals Give Expert Advice On Women’s Health and Wellness: The Unique Challenges Middle Aged Women Face & How to Make Them Your Best Years,” will feature female professionals and coaches who will share their expertise and experience in navigating the middle-age years. Williams is a Los Angeles-based media strategist and founder of the book’s publishing company, Authority Book Consulting, LP, who is aided by Clare, an expert in the fields of public health and behavioral health.
Williams is a leading force in the field of multi-authored publications, having built her career as a marketing and PR expert helping clients to gain authority by being published. For this book, Williams interviewed each contributing specialist for their input and will draft the book’s chapters from those interviews.
