TY Health Insurance Brokerage Helps Small Employers Around the World Tackle Biggest Challenges

Published on September 5, 2019

UNITED STATES- - - The NFIB’s 2019 Small Business Optimism Index shows, once again, that small businesses consider managing employee healthcare as their biggest challenge. Yet, Talia Adika, Partner at TY Health Insurance Brokerage, said that her mission is to change that statistic – one client at a time.

Founded in 1980, TY is an international health insurance brokerage that caters to small to mid-sized businesses, sole proprietors and freelancers. It offers plans and products from most major health insurers and ancillary services providers as well as wellness services like yoga at work and diet and nutrition coaching. Less traditional products and services like short- and long-term disability, medical bridge, HRA/HSA administration, COBRA administration, payroll services and more are also available through its extensive partner network.

“We’ve created the ultimate employee benefits and business support services marketplace for our clients. We consult with them on their goals and budget and they can then choose from a full menu of health and ancillary plans and services that we bundle to the ideal benefit package to meet their unique needs,” said Adika during recent interviews on Business Innovators Radio Network and in Small Business Trendsetters magazine. “My biggest goal is to reassure clients that they are not in this alone. Small businesses have unique needs and we help them fully understand their options and share our recommendations and offer guidance based on our expertise in the industry. We especially stress trustworthy, attentive customer service.”

And Adika speaks from the heart. In fact, she considers TY – which is short for “Thank You” – a labor of love and her calling. The business has been in her family for nearly 40 years. It was founded and operated by her uncle for 32 years before she took the reins in 2012 after amassing broad experience managing benefits and payroll and recruiting employees internationally for a major pharmaceutical company. She also earned two master degrees in organizational leadership and labor and industrial relations from Southern New Hampshire University and Cornell University, respectively.

“As technology continually advances, personal service often goes by the wayside – but not at TY. My uncle founded the company on industry expertise, passion and a neighborly approach and I will ensure we never lose sight of that,” she stressed.

TY Health Insurance Brokerage has offices in California, Florida, New Jersey, New York and Toronto, Ontario. For more information, go to https://tyhealthinsurance.com/.
