Each student will take part in two classes with Lechtenberg over a two week period. Each student will be trained on understanding how to recognize the the signs of bullying, how to remain calm in a bullying situation, who to properly and effectively report and where to get help in a bullying situation and much more.
Brett Lechtenberg, creator of The Anti-Bully Program, was quoted as saying, “I am honored to be working with principal Waddell and her incredible staff. These teachers are truly dedicated to their students physical, mental and emotional well being. The parents who send their children to Butler should be extremely honored to have a principal and teachers who care so much about their children.”
The Anti-Bully Program has currently been taught to over 1,500 elementary school aged students so far this year. The program was created by Lechtenberg as a response to the ever growing need for quality anti-bully education. It is the culmination of 10 years of research and teaching anti-bullying techniques.
“This is a fabulous program. The students are loving it and receiving great tools to know how to deal with bullying. I am so glad Master Lechtenberg is presenting this program to the students of Butler Elementary School.” said, Principal Waddell.
Lechtenberg will be teaching more schools in the next few months to help other schools up level its anti-bully education
