Geoff Ables presented “XRM and PowerApps – 5 Myths and 5 Realities” in an international Dynamics CRM User Group (CRMUG) webinar.
C5 Insight Managing Partner Geoff Ables presented the Dynamics CRM User Group (CRMUG) webinar, “XRM and PowerApps – 5 Myths and 5 Realities” on July 26, 2018. CRMUG is a user group for Customer Engagement and Dynamics 365. CRMUG webinars, designed for users at all levels of expertise to introduce specific topics in short virtual meetings, are available to all CRMUG members worldwide.
“XRM and PowerApps – 5 Myths and 5 Realities” was a non-technical session that described the possibilities for new XRM (eXtended Relationship Management) custom apps delivered on the Dynamics 365 and Office 365 frameworks. Although the custom app possibilities are endless, Ables elaborated on some myths and realities that users should be aware of. He also described the power and the pros and cons of application development with Dynamics 365 and PowerApps. Attendees received insight into best practices, expanding their vision and reducing implementation frustration.
Ables said, “XRM applications have always had potential, but there traditionally were a number of problems, including user complexity, frustrating limitations and difficult IT support. Due to these issues, many organizations abandoned early attempts at XRM applications. With Office 365, we have many new tools and extending Dynamics 365 with citizen developers is more viable then ever before.”
Ables is the author of “The LUCK Principle: Business Results at the Intersection of People & Profit.” In the book he teaches how to harness the power of people, process, and technology to transform a business into a digital workplace that balances a people-first culture with bottom-line results. The book is available in both paperback and Kindle versions on Amazon at https://www.Amazon.com/dp/B01N0QW5H4.
