Dr. Shane suffered for many years through the effects of insomnia. Through his quest to solve his own issues, Dr. Richard Shane discovered important information that could help the millions of people who suffer from sleep problems. As a result of his discovery, Dr. Shane founded Sleep Easily in 2013. Located in Boulder, Colorado, Sleep Easily is positioned to help people overcome their sleep problems. Dr. Shane developed the Sleep Easily method as an at-home program so people nationwide could sleep better quickly.
Dr. Shane has been helping patients that struggle with insomnia for more than 25 years. He is also the Behavioral Sleep Consultant for the New West Physicians based in Colorado and is also a member of  The American Academy of Sleep Medicine, The Society for Behavior Sleep Medicine and The Nation Sleep Foundation.
Once only accessible to private patients and now available for in-home use, Sleep Easily is a proven form of cognitive-behavioral therapy delivered through a mini audio player. It walks a patient through the five physical triggers that create the body feeling of falling asleep. The mind becomes quiet effortlessly and the patient falls asleep or back to sleep, usually in less than 25 minutes.  In a study, 81.6% of participants reported improved sleep, most within the first few nights.
