Baytown, Texas – March 8, 2016 – Mann Eye Institute’s sister company, Mann Eye 2, is excited to announce the opening of its newest office in Baytown, Texas. The new location – previously Vison Max – will serve the Baytown, Dayton, Beaumont, and Liberty areas. “Baytown is an area we have been looking at for quite awhile so we were very excited when this opportunity presented itself,” said Justin Sullivan, Practice Administrator. “We look forward to taking up the care of Vision Max’s and Dr. Planty’s existing patients and welcoming them into the Mann Eye family.” 

“We are excited to expand services at the Baytown location and will be able to offer all the ancillary services for our LASIK and cataract patients, including diagnosis, testing, and pre- and post-op care,” said Sullivan. “Additionally, we will offer patients convenient, high-quality, affordable routine eye care appointments, contact lens fittings, and same-day glasses.”

Tammie Hicks, OD, will lead the team at the new Baytown Mann Eye 2 location. As a primary eye care provider, Dr. Hicks conducts comprehensive eye exams and prescribes glasses and contact lenses. She also offers management of ocular diseases and is a certified glaucoma specialist. She has been a licensed optometrist since 1995. Dr. Hicks is a member of the Harris County Optometric Society.

“When the Baytown location of Mann Eye 2 opened, it felt like coming home,” said Dr. Hicks. “I grew up basically right next door to Baytown, and I’m so excited to be seeing patients there! Having the opportunity to be a part of the Mann Eye family, and being able to build this practice from the ground up (so to speak) is a dual blessing.”
