New Balance Baseball and PROGRAM 15 Announce Upcoming 2017 Dates and Locations for “Future Stars Series” Skills and Evaluation Camps

Global athletic leader New Balance and Program 15, the premiere baseball player development and training system, have announced August through November 2017 confirmed dates for Future Stars Series skills and evaluation combines.

PROGRAM 15 has confirmed the following dates and locations for the highly regarded Future Stars Series Skills and Evaluation Combines through November with additional 2017 dates to be announced within the next few weeks.

8/25-26: Vancouver, BC (Langley Blaze Complex)
8/28-29: Calgary, AB (Lethbridge)
8/31-9/1: Toronto, ON (U of Toronto)
9/9-10: Chicago, IL (TBD)
9/16-17: Seattle, WA (U of Washington)
9/23-24: Kansas City, MO (U of Kansas)
9/30-10/1: Philadelphia, PA (Pitt/Maryland)
10/7-8: Houston, TX (Premier Baseball of Texas Sports Complex)
10/14-15: Boston, MA (NEBC complex)
10/28-29: San Francisco, CA (Cal)
11/4-5: Richmond, VA (Tuckahoe Sports Complex)
11/11-12: Los Angeles, CA (USC)

The Future Stars Series nationwide search for amateur baseball talent is the initiative between New Balance and PROGRAM 15 to elevate the game of baseball by providing players across all economic levels an opportunity to reach their full potential through the training, development, and guidance of former MLB players, scouts, and coaches.

The grassroots effort to reach as many undiscovered players as possible has experienced exponential growth over the last year, grabbing the attention of over 70 of the most respected organizations in amateur baseball who have come on board as Regional Directors and Partners.

The Future Stars Series Skills and Evaluation Combines consist of the following two-day combine structure and are open to all amateur high school age players.

Day One:
– Tool Testing and Player Development by Position
– Athletic Strength and Conditioning Testing with Instruction
– Hitting: Blast Motion Metrics, Exit Velocity, Raw Power, Swing Analysis and Development
– Pitching: Game Calling, Long toss, Game Day Routine, Arm Care
– Recruiting Education with NCSA

Day Two:
– Mental Skills Workshop
– Games

New Balance Baseball will provide all players with:
– Footwear
– New Balance Future Stars Series Combine Hat & Shirt

Each player will receive a full PROGRAM 15 Scouting Report, developmental feedback and plan to assist in their long-term growth from scouts who have signed Major League players. Player profiles and evaluations will be logged into the PROGRAM 15 Proprietary Scouting Database.

Future Stars Series Skills and Evaluation Combines are led and attended by the PROGRAM 15 National Staff of Major League Veteran players, scouts, and coaches including:

Jeremy Booth – CEO and President of Baseball Operations
Butch Baccala – VP of Scouting – 25+ Years MLB Scout
Adam Czajkowski – Director of Operations – Former MLB Scouting Supervisor
Trenidad Hubbard – Director of Player Development – 10+ Years MLB Player
Roberto Kelly – National Outfield and Baserunning Coordinator – 14+ Years MLB Player
Chad Moeller – National Catching Coordinator – 11+ Years MLB Player
Benji Gil – National Infield Coordinator 8+ Years MLB Player
Steve Randolph – National Pitching Coordinator – 6+ Years MLB Player

Scouts, Coaches, and Staff will be using evaluation and development tools provided by:

Blast Motion – the industry’s most accurate motion capture sensor integrated with communication, analysis, coaching, and management tools that enable the daily drive to improve.

SkillShow – Leader in onsite sports filming and Draft scouting videos used by many MLB scouting departments. Player videos will be made available to each participant.

PROGRAM 15 President and Director of Development, Jeremy Booth stated, “Our program is specifically designed to develop the individual player’s ability to his full potential, then to get that player the results that their ability deserves. Our commitment is the same, whether it’s a young man with the desire to move from select ball to playing in high school, from high school to being recruited by a college or from college to MLB draft pick.”

Amateur players identified by PROGRAM 15’s National Staff of former Major League and professional players, scouts and coaches will be submitted to New Balance Baseball for advanced opportunities and potential selection to regional and national team rosters.

The Future Stars Series Skills and Evaluation Combines are hosted by a selected regional college program or summer league and will serve as a recruiting showcase opportunity as well.
