The new book, called 30 Days to Awesome, teaches readers how using a tool called a “30 day challenge” can help form habits and mindset to build success in different areas of performance.
This challenge format has proven to be successful for people looking to make improvements in something they struggle with: whether it be emotional, physical, or mental. They make a plan to do it every day for 30 days.
“It’s very important to make sure you do it every single day in a row,” says Saxena. “Jerry Seinfeld talks about this exact concept when writing comedy. He refers to it as ‘not breaking the chain.’ He gets out a calendar and puts a big red ‘X’ on each day he writes with he goal of writing everyday so that he does not miss a day or ‘break the chain.'”
Saxena’s knowledge comes from a non-typical career path. After earning a medical degree at the age of 23 years old, he realized he was an entrepreneur at heart and, while practicing medicine, continued to build businesses. He has built six successful companies, mostly in the real estate industry, and was a full-time professional actor based in New York City during his mid-20s.
He has taken this business experience and medical career to understand what allows individuals and organizations to achieve peak performance.
Saxena’s first book, Massive Action Equals Massive Results was a #1 best seller on Amazon.com upon release and continues to educate readers with real-world examples drawn from his life. 30 Days to Awesome continues this theme.
